- Support our online befriending service for people with Aphasia
- Support virtual groups
We provide training, ongoing support and supervision, expenses paid in association with the role, with opportunity for growth and gathering experience.

Volunteer roles with Aphasia Re-Connect
Providing supported communication to individuals and peer group leaders within a conversation group. Opportunities available in SE1, BR1, EC1, and online. A minimum of 2-3 hours per week or month depending on the group.
Visit a person with aphasia within their own home or online on a regular basis to provide supported conversations. Flexible timings but with empathy for the conversation partners wishes. Support and supervision provided. To find out more about Conversation Partners click here .
Play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the charity. Whether helping with day to day administration of the service, organising activities or events, or liaising with Trustees, volunteers or donors, you will be helping to provide our vital service to more people with Aphasia. Option to work from home and with flexible hours. Ongoing support and training provided.
To use your initiative and leadership skills to take forward a fundraising idea or run an event in line with Aphasia Re-Connect’s vision and mission, in collaboration with friends or colleagues. A suggested 2 hours per week over a six month period.
In line with Aphasia Re-connect’s vision and mission, to engage with and support fundraising initiatives. A mere one or up to two hours per week over a six month period, in any location of choice, engaging with the Fundraising guru and the Aphasia Re-Connect team.
To actively engage and commit to promoting aphasia and the work of Aphasia Re-Connect on social media and via the website, in line with our objectives and mission, and to encourage other volunteers in this pursuit.
To contribute to the promotion of aphasia and the work of Aphasia Re-connect via social media and the website.
To monitor and oversee the collection of outcome data for Aphasia Re- Connect’s groups, in line with our objectives and mission. Read the role outline for further information.
