In 26th November 2017, I had a Stroke!
My partner was woken by me, on the floor! I couldn’t say anything! When I woke up, I was in a Hospital Right away, I had a Thrombectomy to remove a clot from my carotid artery and a stent inserted.
All in all, I stayed in the Hospital, for 6 months!
After I was allowed out, from the NHS, my partner arranged for my leg and arm, therapy, once a week.
That’s was very good! Next was Speech, in London, for 3 week. Just as I was about to finish it, I asked what next!
I was given the name of a Aphasia Re Connect Over the next year, and beyond, Aphasia Re Connect, did Art, Photo, Cooking, Between The Lines, and Music. Every week I had to read it, out loud! It was brilliant! Please, please donate!
